Joana Bravo works as an editorial designer and art director focusing in projects for the cultural and artistic sectors. In recent years, she has led the design team at Ivorypress — publishing house, gallery and bookshop specialised in artist’s books —, where she has collaborated with numerous artists, including Alberto García-Alix, Jenny Holzer, David Maisel, Shirin Neshat, Adriana Varejão, and Edmund de Waal. She has also worked with the Norman Foster Foundation, Lacasta Design, Sonia Sánchez Studio, among others, on projects for institutions as the Mapfre Foundation, the National Library of Spain and the Thyssen-Bornemizsa National Museum. Her passion for the printed medium and photography has led her to pursue self-initiated projects that explore the intersections between design, art and technique having books as her core subject.
